MLC candidate using Red Cross charity in election campaign-Mohan Rao

Nellore: CPM Nellore district committee has submitted a petition to the collector asking to take action on the irregularities in the registration of MLC election votes and errors during vote verification, said the convener of the election committee M. Mohan Rao. He said that in the registration of MLC elections, registration was done with bogus certificates, and in the registration of teachers’ votes, the management of some corporate educational institutions violated the rules under the auspices of the ruling party. It has been mentioned in the petition that they have come to the notice of Vikrama Simhapuri University registrar against the rules of counter-signing and an inquiry should be conducted against them. P. Chandrasekhar Reddy, who is contesting as the candidate of the ruling party teacher MLC, said that the Red Cross charity organization and the District Collector are being used in the election campaign videos, and steps should be taken to stop this abuse of power. He said that during the verification of voter registration, B.L.O.s are using volunteers and representatives of the ruling party for the work to be done and they are also committing irregularities in the verification and it has been requested to avoid it. It is stated that these petitions have been sent to the Central Election Commission and the State Election Officer. Trade union coordination committee convener R. Nagesh, CPM district committee members T. Dayakar and N. Swaraj Babu are in this delegation.
