Movie background singer Vani Jayaram passed away

Nellore: Renowned film playback singer Vani Jayaram passed away at her home in Chennai, family members said. Vani Jayaram’s voice, which has been enthralling film music lovers for five decades with his melodious music, has become mute. Vani Jayaram, who sang for the first time on All India Radio at the age of ten, sang her first song in the movie ‘Guddi’ in 1970. She received four other awards along with Tansen for her debut song. She greeted Telugu listeners with songs from the movie ‘Abhimanavanudu’. Apoorva Ragangal, directed by Balachander, won the National Award. She received the National Award for the second time for the song Manasa Sancharare from the movie Shankarabharanam. “Anathiniyyara Hara” from the movie “Swathikiranam”.

She won the National Award for Best Female Singer for the third time. She has successfully completed her 50-year film career as a playback singer. In her career, she has sung songs in a total of 18 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, and Oriya. He has sung 10 thousand songs in almost a thousand movies. Recently, the central government announced the Padma Bhushan award to her. Vani Jayaram’s fans and film celebrities are expressing their condolences after hearing the news of her death.
