Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to Sardhar Vallabhbhai Patel statue

Amaravati: On the occasion of Sarthar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 147th birth anniversary in Gujarat, Modi performed palabhisheka at the feet of Sarthar Vallabhbhai Patel’s statue in Narmada River. A parade of three forces was held during the Ekta Divas celebrations. Prime Minister Modi dedicated the Miyawaki Forest Garden and Bhulbhulaiya Park projects to the people to commemorate the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India and First Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, opposite the Statue of Unity and near Jungle Safari. Prime Minister Modi said that India was united only because of Sarthar Vallabhbhai Patel. It is worrying to imagine what would have happened without Patel’s leadership at the time of independence, he said. He reminded that more than 550 states were united with steel will. If Sardhar Patel had not shown dedication to India, the situation would have been different.
