Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ujjain Mahakal Corridor
Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday dedicated the first phase of the “Sri Mahakal Lok” corridor in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain to the nation. Arriving at the temple in traditional attire, special pooja was performed to the Prime Minister and Mahakala. Later the corridor was opened. Under the first phase of the development project of the ancient Mahakaleshwar temple premises, which is famous as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the constructions undertaken at a cost of Rs.856 crores have been completed. The ‘Mahakal Lok’, a 900 meter long corridor developed in this temple, is designed to take the devotees into the spiritual world. Vikramaditya ruled this region. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and others participated in the programme.
