The center announced the list of fake passport websites

Amaravati: The Center has warned the citizens of the country not to be deceived by fake passport websites. Some fake websites and apps claiming to provide services related to online application forms and appointment scheduling are deceiving people and advised them not to believe such things. The Center said that the Ministry of External Affairs of India has provided the facility to apply for passport only on its official website. It has been clarified that only the website www.passportindia.gov.in provides passport services across the country.
