This track is not in use as the sugar mill is not working for the last few years. Thieves who got wind of this matter destroyed the railway track on an installment basis and sold it to scrap dealers. Suspecting the involvement of Railway Protection Force personnel in the crime, the railway authorities have suspended two RPF employees. Railway police have registered an FIR. Railway officials said that they are conducting a full investigation into the incident and action will be taken against the accused.
