Amaravati: District Collector Harinarayanan said in a statement that due to the storm and heavy rains, 5.12.23 (Tuesday) is also declared a holiday for educational institutions in the district. As Miching Vyaugundam is close to the coast of Nellore, the weather officials are predicting that the effect of the day will be severe on the district. Miching is located 111 km East-North East of Chennai, India and moving northwest at 15 km/h (8 knots) during last 6 hours. Wind speed is said to be 80 to 100 km per hour.
