Unrepentant West-A lesson for us on election management?-Jaya Shankar
Amaravati: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar strongly reacted to the inappropriate comments made by the media of the United States and Canada on the general elections taking place in India. Western countries are not abandoning their old habits. He commented that the western countries feel that they have ruled the world for 200 years, and now they are unable to digest the fact that India does not care about them. He made the above comments while speaking at a program held in Kolkata on Tuesday.
The attitude of the media is that those countries are thinking of encroaching on our country, because these countries have adopted the policy of colonial rule over the countries of the world since the last 80 years. External Affairs Minister Jayashankar asked how the Western countries, who think they have ruled the world since the last 200 years, will change their old ways. Countries that rely on courts for election results are now teaching us lessons on how to conduct elections, he said.
