Three SPs, collector and 12 officials reacted strongly-ECI

Amaravati: The Central Election Commission has suspended the SPs of Palnad and Anantapur districts in connection with the post-election clashes. It has issued orders to take departmental action against the officials and transferred Tirupati SP. Along with them, 12 police officers in Palnadu, Anantapur and Tirupati districts have been suspended. It has issued orders to take departmental action against these 12 officers. A Special Investigation Team has also been appointed by the Election Commission. Ordered to submit report on violent incidents within two days. It is clear that the FIR should be updated as per IPC section.
Petrol Bombs, Hunting Knives, Axes:- In connection with the post-election clashes, the police conducted a large-scale inspection in Pinnelli village of Machavaram mandal of Palnadu district after the bombs created a commotion. SP Bindu Madhav said that 55 petrol bombs, hunting knives, axes and broken beer bottles were recovered from two houses belonging to YSRCP leaders. The SP said that whoever is behind these, whoever is making the bombs and doing the vandalism will be arrested soon.
