11 jawans were killed by Maoists
Amaravati: In Chhattisgarh, the Maoists saw it and exploded a landmine, killing the jawans. On Wednesday, 11 jawans were killed on the spot when an IED detonated in a mini bus after completing combing in Dantewada’s Aranpur area. The deceased jawans have been identified as District Reserve Guard jawans (DRG). The DRG team took up the cubing operation with the definite information about the presence of Maoists in Aranpur. On receiving the information, the senior police officials reached the spot. A large-scale combing for Naxalites has started. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bhaghel. They promised to provide all possible help.
