Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan Arrest?

Amravathi: As per the directions of the Pakistan Army, the Islamabad Police is ready to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. About 80 cases are pending against him in various courts across the country.  A large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists gathered at Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park. They started protesting saying that it is not possible to arrest Imran Khan.

Toshakhana means treasury. It is working under the supervision of Cabinet Division of Government of Pakistan. Toshakhana keeps the gifts received by the incumbent President, Prime Minister, and officials. If the value of the gifts is less than Rs.30, 000, the President or Prime Minister of Pakistan can keep it.. If it costs more than that, it should be kept in Toshkhana according to the law. During Imran Khan’s tenure as Prime Minister, a case has been registered on allegations that expensive gifts were not handed over to Toshkhana, some were kept by him, and some were sold.
