Chittoor: Returning Officer, District Collector, Chittoor Mr. Hari Narayanan said that declaration was given to Kancharla Srikanth with the announcement of the Election Commission in the counting of votes according to priority in the legislative council election of graduates of Nellore and Chittoor constituencies. On Saturday morning, Kancharla Srikanth received the declaration after the counting process was completed at the local RVIS Engineering College from 16. On the 16th of this month, as per the instructions of the Election Commission, the counting process started from 8 am and continued till 2 am on the 18th, with the elimination voting process, Kancharla Srikanth won with a lead of 34,110 votes over his nearest candidate, Shyam Prasad Reddy, and received the declaration issued by the Election Commission. He said that out of total 2, 48,360 votes, Kancharla Srikanth got 1,24,181 votes and Shyam Prasad Pernati got 90,071 votes. Assistant Returning Officer, D.R.O.N. Rajasekhar participated in the program to deliver the declaration.
