Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Moscow and was greeted by Russia

Amaravati: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Moscow on Monday evening as part of a two-day visit to Russia. Modi was warmly welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov who landed in Moscow. After coming out of the airport, Indian as well as Russian dance troupes welcomed the Prime Minister with cultural dances. As part of this, a group of Russian girls danced to the Rajasthani song ‘Rangilo Maro Dholna’. Dressed up and danced to evoke Indian culture. Moscow’s Ostankino Tower, the tallest free-standing structure in Europe, is lit up with the tricolor of India. This is Modi’s first visit to Moscow after attacking Russia and Ukraine in February 2022. Prime Minister Modi’s last visit to Russia was in 2019 when he attended an economic summit in the Far East city of Vladivostok.
