Andhra Pradesh will become drone technology hub, says Chief Minister Chandrababu
Amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh will become a drone technology hub, and this technology will be a game changer in the future. On Tuesday, Chandrababu inaugurated the two-day Amaravati Drone Summit-2024 conference at the C.K Convention in Mangalagiri in partnership with the Department of Civil Aviation, DFI, and CII. On this occasion, CM Chandrababu said that the conference was full of young technical experts, and it was commendable that 6,929 representatives participated in this summit. He said that after becoming the CM for the first time in 1995, he focused on IT and worked for the development of the IT sector in Hyderabad. He said that in those days he went to America and met many organizations for 15 days. Hi-tech city is being built in PPP method. CM Chandrababu said that Indians are very capable in IT and knowledge economy. He said that drones were used during recent floods in Vijayawada. Food and medicines were sent to the victims by using drone services to places where rescue teams could not go.
