Boat accident in Avuku reservoir, two dead

Amaravati: 12 people fell into the water after the boat overturned in the Avuku reservoir of Nandyala district. In this incident, two drowned and died, while another is missing. It seems that a large number of tourists have come as it is Sunday.. Locals who were there at the time of the accident responded immediately and rescued 9 people. As the tourists were wearing life jackets, a big accident was averted. On receiving the information, the police reached there and started rescue operations. In 2018, the government developed the cow reservoir as a tourist area and started boating. Locals said that there has been no accident since then.
