Amaravati: Five soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning. The incident took place between Bhimber Gali-Poonch sector in Rajouri. In the background of heavy rain in this area, first there was an accident due to lightning and the fire broke out in the vehicle and five people were killed, but later the authorities announced that this happened due to a terrorist attack. Soldiers of 49 Rashtriya Rifles 13 Sector Romeo Force are performing duties as part of anti-terror operations in Rajouri sector. On Thursday, some unknown assailants opened fire at the vehicle in which the soldiers were traveling and threw grades and the officials believe that the van caught fire at once. It was explained that the seriously injured jawan was taken to a local hospital and is being treated. Indian Army officials revealed that intensive search operations for terrorists are continuing at the site of the attack.
