Legendary cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi passes away

Amaravati: Former player, legendary cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi (77) passed away on Monday due to illness. Born on September 25, 1946 in Amrit Sir, he entered the national cricket team at the age of 21. Got a chance to play the first Test in 1979. In a short time, he became a legendary spinner and became the main bowler for Team India. He played a total of 67 Tests and took 266 wickets. He played 10 ODIs and took 7 wickets. He got a place in Team India in 1975 and 1979 Cricket ODI World Cup. He played 370 matches in first class cricket and took 1,560 wickets. Bishan Singh Bedi, who captained 22 Test matches in his international career, trained many young cricketers.
