Former Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy joined BJP

Amaravati: The last and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy has joined the BJP. He resigned from the Congress party a short time ago and joined himself with a saffron scarf in the presence of Union Minister JP Nadda in Delhi on Friday (April 7). Minister Prahlad Joshi, MP Dr. Laxman and many national leaders officially invited Kiran Kumar Reddy to join the BJP. Speaking to the media on this occasion, he expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the behavior of the Congress leadership.

Kiran Kumar Reddy said that his party was in the Congress since 1952 and he never thought that he would leave the Congress. He said that the Congress High Command has lost power in each state due to wrong decisions. He alleged that the Congress only wanted power, and for that, it took decisions without consulting anyone during the division of the state. Congress has run out of trouble shooters. Kiran Kumar Reddy commented that the high command is not aware of what is happening at the field level, nor is it aware of the mistakes that have been made. He criticized Congress for not learning lessons from foreigners

Kiran Kumar Reddy won 4 times as MLA in undivided Andhra Pradesh.. Kiran Kumar Reddy served as Government Whip in the Legislative Assembly between 2004-09 and served as the 16th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh between 2010-14. farewell to Congress in February 2014 opposing the division of Andhra Pradesh. In the 2014 assembly elections, he formed a party named Samaikyandhra Party and participated in the elections but lost.
