Hero and character artist Chandramohan passed away
Hyderabad: Actor who has pleased the Telugu and Tamil audience with more than 900 films as a hero and character artist. Chandrasekhar (Chandramohan) has been suffering from many health problems for some time due to the burden of his 81-year-old age. He passed away at 9.45 am on Saturday after being admitted to Hyderabad Apollo Hospital due to heart related health problems.
This caused a great tragedy in the film industry. Fans and many celebrities are mourning his death on social media.
He was born on May 23, 1942 in Pamidimukka of Krishna district.
Chandramana’s real name is Mallampally Chandrasekhar. Completed B.Sc. After that he did some job in Elur.. Chandramohan, who went to Madras with the enthusiasm to act in films and started his efforts, made his film debut in 1966 with the film ‘Rangularatnam’.
Since then, he has acted in many different roles as an actor, supporting actor, comic actor, character actor and has pleased the audience. Acted in more than 932 films. As a hero, he played various roles in about 175 films. He gained special attention mainly through comedy roles. Nandi Award for Best Comedian in 1987 for ‘Chandamama Rave’ and two Nandi Awards for Best Supporting Actor in 2005 for ‘Athanokkade’. Film fare Awards for Best Actor for his performance in the movies ‘Padaharella vayasu Awadh’ and ‘Siri Siri Muvva’.
Chandra Mohan and his wife Jalandhara have two daughters. His mortal remains will be kept on Saturday and Sunday for fans and film celebrities to visit and his last rites will be performed at Hyderabad Mahaprasthan on Monday.
