After re-evaluating manually, some candidates qualified but approached the High Court alleging irregularities in the evaluation. The High Court, which took up the matter on Wednesday, said that it was illegal to evaluate the mains answer sheets multiple times. With this, the High Court ordered the authorities to cancel the list of selected candidates and re-conduct the examination and complete the selection process within 6 weeks.
State Government:- AP Government has announced that the candidates should not worry about the verdict given by the High Court on Group-1 2018. It has promised to protect the interests of those who are selected and doing jobs under the said notification. The High Court has promised to appeal the verdict.
