Jamili elections are not possible now-Law Commission!

Amaravati: The Law Commission has decided that Jamili elections are not possible now. Justice Commission President Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi said that without amending the existing laws in the constitution, it is not possible to hold general elections. He said that the process of examination of possibilities related to the conduct of Jamili elections is going on. Jamili said that there will be no elections in 2024, elections will be held this time like every time. If the constitution is amended, it will be possible to conduct Jamili elections in 2029. Jamili elections also have to be completed in two phases. It is reported that the Law Commission has expressed the opinion that Lok Sabha, Legislative Assembly elections, and local body elections should be held.
