Amaravati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma invited Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio to visit Kaziranga National Park in Assam. DiCaprio expresses his views on environmental issues around the world. Recently, he mentioned about the endangered one-horned rhinoceros and praised the steps being taken by the Assam government for their conservation. Between 2000 and 2021, 190 rhinos were killed for their horns. Assam government has taken steps in 2021 to ensure that they are not hunted in Kaziranga National Park.
