The accident happened due to changes in the signaling point-Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav

Amaravati: Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav made key comments on the accident of two trains in Odisha. He said that this did not happen due to an accident, the accident happened due to changes in the signaling point. Ashwini Vaishnav along with Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the victims undergoing treatment in the hospital on Sunday morning. In this context, he said that changes have been made in the electronic interlocking system, and it is because of these changes that such an accident has taken place. The minister made it clear that the lack of guardrail system was not the cause of the railway accident. He said that those who have made changes in the signaling point have been identified and strict action will be taken against them soon. He said that the report on tampering in signaling has been prepared. He said that the restoration work of the railway track damaged due to the accident is going on, and they are trying to complete these works before Wednesday morning and run trains on the track again.
