Navneet Rana wrote a letter to President Draupadi Murmu demanding action against Asaduddin Owaisi
amravati: Former Amaravati MP and BJP leader Navneet Rana has demanded cancellation of Parliament membership of AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi. In this regard, he wrote a letter to President Draupadi Murmu on Thursday (27 June). After taking oath in Parliament, Owaisi had said Jai Palestine on June 25. Regarding this, Rana has demanded cancellation of membership. Navneet Rana, who was an independent MP from Maharashtra’s Amravati seat from 2019 to 2024, said in a letter to the President, “Immediately after Asaduddin Owaisi took oath as MP from Hyderabad, he announced ‘Jai Palestine’ in the Lok Sabha Hall. Navneet Rana said, “Palestine is a foreign country, which has no connection with any Indian citizen or the Indian Constitution. According to Article 102 and 103 of the Indian Constitution, if any member of Parliament shows his loyalty or determination for any other nation, or if he commits such an act, then his membership of Parliament can be canceled.She said, “Asaduddin Owaisi has shown his loyalty, determination and attachment towards this nation by raising the slogan of Jai Palestine immediately after taking oath as a Lok Sabha member, which is a violation of the Constitution. This is a very serious matter, it can also prove fatal for the internal security of the country.
