NIA searches in 58 places simultaneously across Kerala

Amaravati: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been conducting lightning raids in the state of Kerala since last 24 hours. NIA is simultaneously conducting searches in 58 locations across Kerala. Attacks on bases of leaders of Popular Front of India (PFI), a banned organization in the country. These raids are being carried out after receiving information that PFI leaders are re-running PFI under a different name. The NIA raids that started on Wednesday night targeting the residences of some key people of the organization are still going on. 8 special offices of banned PFI leaders in Ernakulam in Kerala and 6 centers in Thiruvananthapuram are being targeted.
