Amaravati: Yaduvir Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar (32), a member of the royal family of Mysore, as the BJP candidate, has entered the Lok Sabha election ring saying that he will contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency with the Congress candidate M Lakshmana, who is the representative of the Congress in Karnataka. According to the election affidavit filed by him on Monday, he has no house, land or vehicle. According to the nomination papers, his total assets are around Rs 4.99 crore. Besides, the details of his assets and debts are mentioned in the affidavit. He said that his wife Trishika Kumari Wadiyar has assets worth Rs.1.04 crores and their children have assets worth Rs.3.64 crores. Along with his mother Pramoda Devi Wadiyar and local BJP MLA Srivatsa, he went to the election office in Mysore and handed over two sets of nomination papers to the officer.
