Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral Church in Delhi on Sunday on the occasion of Easter, which is celebrated after Good Friday. The Prime Minister reached the church and wished Easter to the Christians. As this is the first time that the Prime Minister of the country is visiting this church, the pastors offered special prayers, the head pastor of the church, Swaminathan, presented the cross of Jesus Christ to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Swaminathan said that they were very happy when the Prime Minister came to the church on Easter. After offering special prayers, the Prime Minister took pictures with them. Later, the Prime Minister planted a sapling in the garden in front of the church. Church administrators said that all security arrangements have been made in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
