The central government has increased the minimum support price for six crops

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a key decision targeting the welfare of farmers. A cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday decided to increase the minimum support price (MSP) for 6 Rabi crops for the 2024-25 season. Crops such as wheat, barley, gram, sugarcane, mustard, sunflower are under the central government’s minimum support price. The price of quintals has been increased to Rs. 425. The price of wheat rose to Rs 2,275 per quintal after raising the minimum support price of wheat to Rs 150. Barley increased to Rs 115 and the price of quinta increased to Rs 1,850, and groundnut increased to Rs 105 and the price of quinta increased to Rs 5,440. gram increased by Rs.425 to Rs.6,425 per quintal, Mustard increased by Rs.200 to Rs.5,650 per quintal, Sunflower increased by Rs.150 to Rs.5,800 per quintal. Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced this decision in a cabinet meeting.
