The verdict of the voters will begin tomorrow morning in Karnataka
Amaravati: Karnataka assembly elections are all set..polling will be held on Wednesday from 7 am to 6 pm.. Polling for 224 seats in the Karnataka Assembly is being held in a single phase. The main contest is between the main parties BJP, CONG, JDS.. Total 2,615 candidates are in the fray.. While BJP is contesting in 224 seats, Congress party has fielded candidates in 223 seats. Congress has announced support for Sarvodaya Party candidate in one place. In the past 38 years, no ruling party in Karnataka has come back to power twice. But BJP is trying to come to power for the second time in Karnataka as well as in Uttar Pradesh. As part of this, Prime Minister Modi has written an open letter to the voters of Karnataka. The prime minister appealed to the Kannada voters that their aspiration is to keep Karnataka at the top in terms of investments, industries and innovation. He said that Karnataka will retain the first place in the field of education, jobs and entrepreneurial industry.
