There was data theft during the previous government?-Bhumana

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh assembly meetings are going on amid allegations and challenges. House committee chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy submitted an interim report in the assembly saying that there are suspicions that Pegasus software was used in the assembly meetings and data was stolen. He said that the preliminary investigation revealed that data theft had taken place during the previous government’s regime, and that the data theft was part of the removal of more than 30 lakh voters, which was initiated by the previous government. It has been revealed that an attempt was made to delete votes through the Seva Mitra app and the data was misused. Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that there should be a more in-depth investigation into this matter. He said that an investigation is being conducted to catch the data thieves, and more details will come to light soon. It was revealed that between 2017-19 and 18-19, private information was completely misused.
