TTD Chairman who launched mobile containers in Tirumala

Tirumala: TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy along with the TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy on Thursday inaugurated two mobile containers as temporary accommodation for the benefit of devotees during the heavy rush season at hill shrine. These mobile containers were donated by a donor from Visakhapatnam Sri Narasimha Murthy which will be allocated as a night shelter for TTD drivers on a trial basis. Speaking on the occasion the TTD chairman said the availability of rooms in Tirumala was limited and construction of more rest houses are not permitted due to environment concerns. He said TTD is expanding old rest houses to create more accommodation.
The mobile container costing around ₹10 lakhs each comprised of beds, bathrooms and toilets to accommodate 12 persons at a time was installed at Tirumala Transport Depot while another one opposite Rambhagicha 3 Rest House. The Chairman also said TTD plans to position such mobile containers at various locations during heavy rush season in future.
