Vote should be exercised with moral values Collector Harinarayanan
Nellore: District Election Officer and Collector M Harinarayanan has called upon everyone to use the most valuable right to vote given to us by the Constitution of India with moral values and do their part for the development of the country. The 14th National Voter’s Day celebrations were inaugurated at Tikkanaprangam in Nellore Collectorate on Thursday. Addressing the students on this occasion, the Collector said that after the approval of our Constitution on 26th November 1949, the Election Commission of India came into being on 25th January 1950 and to commemorate this occasion, National Voter’s Day was organized on 25th January every year. In our country, which is the largest democratic country in the world and has about 96 crore voters, everyone must remember and celebrate National Voter’s Day as a matter of pride for all of us. It is suggested that young men and women should use their right to vote with moral value and elect good leaders so that our country can provide democratic values to the future generations of India and become a most powerful country.
