6 lane highway between Naidupet-Reniguntala to be completed by 2025- Nitin Gadkari

Tirupati: I am fortunate to visit Shri Venkateswara Swamy, the world famous historical place Tirupati is visited by devotees from all over the country, priority has been given to the creation of infrastructure of international standards, said Union Minister of Road Transport and National Highways Nitin Gadkari. The Union Minister was the chief guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony of 3 new national highways in the state at the local SV University Stadium on Thursday. Union Minister Krishna laid the foundation stone for the construction of connectivity package 2,3,4 national highways to Patnam port in digital mode. Later in his speech, he said that if there were 4193 km of national highways in Andhra Pradesh by the time he took charge as a minister in 2014, today it will reach 8744 km by 2023 and almost twice the construction has been done. Believing that unemployment can be eradicated only with infrastructure, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given highest priority to water, electricity, roads and communication.

Works worth 17 thousand crores:- He said that works worth Rs.17 thousand crores are being done in Tirupati district alone and will be completed by 2024. He said that the works have already been completed with a cost of Rs.4 thousand crores, and the roads like Kadapa-Renigunta, Tirupati-Madanapalli, Renigunta-Nayudupet 6 lane, which are going on with another Rs.13 thousand crores, will be completed by 2025.
