A Shiv Sena leader was shot dead on the spot

Amaravati: Shiv leader Sudhir Suri was killed in Amritsar, Punjab on Friday morning. Sudhir was shot dead on the spot by an unidentified man at Majitha Road near Gopal Temple. While some leaders of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena faction were protesting outside the temple, a man came into the crowd and opened fire. Police have arrested two people in connection with this incident. The A.30 pistol used in the shooting was recovered. The incident of a man firing was recorded on the CC camera. Local leaders protested after the shooting incident. Shiv Sena Punjab President Yogiraj Sharma alleged that since the new government came to power, there has been a complete collapse of law and order in Punjab.
