Fiji’s highest civilian award for Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Amaravati: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred with Fiji’s highest civilian award.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honored with “The Companion of the Order of Fiji” for his global leadership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the medal from Sitiveni Rabuka of Fiji. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honored with a civilian award, a rare honor for a non-Fijian. It is a great honor for India that our Prime Minister has received the Fiji Citizen Award. In recognition of Prime Minister Modi’s global leadership, only a few non-Fijians have received this honor,” the Prime Minister’s Office said. The Ministry of External Affairs said on Twitter that Prime Minister Modi dedicated this honor to the people of India and the Fiji-Indian people who played a vital role in the alliance between the two countries.
