Legendary actor Sarath Babu passed away

HYDERABAD: A typical hero in the Telugu film industry, Sarath Babu (71), a distinguished actor, passed away at 1.30 pm on Monday while undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital. Many film celebrities mourned his death and said that the film industry and fans will never be without him. Sarath Babu’s original name is Satyam Babu Dixitulu. Born on 31 July 1951 in Amudalavalasa, Srikakulam. He changed his name after entering films. He acted in more than 250 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Sarath Babu, who started his career as an actor in 1973, received many Nandi awards as a supporting actor. Sarath Babu married actress Ramaprabha in 1974. He broke up with her in 1988 due to some personal reasons. Again in 1990, he got married to Snehanambiar for the second time but due to some problems with her too, he divorced her in 2011.
