Govt transferred IAS, IPS officers

Amaravati: The Karnataka government on Tuesday transferred IAS Rohini Sindhuri and IPS Roopa Moudgil, who started a rant against each other on the social media platform. Both of them have been transferred without posting. Basava Rajendra has been appointed in place of Sindhuri who is the Commissioner of Religion. Also, the Karnataka Handicrafts Development Corporation has announced that Bharti will be appointed in place of Roopa Moudgil. At the same time, the government took a decision to transfer Rupamaudgil and her husband Munish. Vinesh, who was in the survey settlement land record department, has been transferred as the principal secretary of the personnel affairs department.
