Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the backdrop of the war between Israel and Hamas. On this occasion, the leader said that he condemns the terrorist attacks on Israel. Prime Minister Modi said that Netanyahu called and assured Israel that they are in difficult times. This is the first conversation between the two heads of state since the fierce war between Israel and Hamas started on Saturday. Posting on his social media X, Prime Minister Modi said, “Thank you to Prime Minister Netanyahu for calling me and explaining the situation.” He said that the people of India stood by Israel at such a difficult time. He emphasized that India strongly condemns terrorism in any form. Prime Minister Modi termed the rocket attack on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas on Saturday as a terrorist attack on Israel. He said that he was shocked by the news of the terrorist attack in Israel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the Israeli families of those killed in the terror attack.
