Amaravati: The Central Election Commission has released the schedules for five state assembly elections. Chief Electoral Officer Rajeev Kumar made the announcement at a media conference held at the Central Election Commission office in Delhi on Monday.
The dates of elections in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh have been announced.
Elections will be held in five states from the second week of November to the first week of December, the Chief Election Officer said. There are 8.2 crore male voters and 7.8 crore female voters in five states. In this, 60.2 lakh people will exercise their right to vote for the first time.

Telangana election notification will be released on November 3. Last date for nominations is 10th November and verification will be done on 11th. Polling on November 30 in a single phase, counting of votes on December 3.
