Japan’s earthquake registered 7.6 on the earthquake-recovery scal

Amaravati: A huge earthquake occurred in Japan on Monday.. As the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 7.6 on the Richter scale, the Japanese government issued a tsunami warning. One meter high waves surged in the west coast. In this background, people were moved from the coastal areas to safer areas on a large scale. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued tsunami warnings for Ishikawa, Niigata and Toyama areas. Tsunami warnings were also issued for Vladivostok and Nakhoda in eastern Russia.
