Internship system should be offered to the students-Collector

Nellore: Collector Chakradhar Babu advised the students to adopt the internship system innovatively introduced by the state government in general degree courses and lay the foundation to rise to a higher position in life. On Monday, an awareness conference was held for students who are going to do internship in LIC at Kasturbha Kalakshetra in the city. Speaking in this program, the Collector said that never before, in any state, the state government has introduced the internship system which is only in professional courses even in general degree courses. He said that the future needs of the industries are identified in advance and students are provided internship opportunities in the respective fields. He said that steps have been taken to avoid any financial burden on the students. Students should have a positive attitude and strive to make the internship not just a part of the course but useful in life. He said that India Life Insurance Company is the first company in the world with its own marketing strategies in the insurance sector; they would like to express their special thanks to India Life Insurance Company for providing internship opportunity to more than 800 students in such an organization and Vikrama Simhapuri University for their support.
