We will regularize all contract employees-Chief Minister

Amaravati: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced the permanent abolition of contract recruitment system. This decision was taken in the meeting on the occasion of CM’s birthday that all the contract employees will be regularized and a notification will be released on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “I am happy to announce that the State Cabinet has decided to abolish the contract recruitment system permanently. It is stated that contract recruitment system is continued in many states even today. “The era of contractual recruitment in Odisha has ended today and this decision has brought an early Diwali for their family members,” the Chief Minister said. More than 57,000 employees in Odisha will benefit from this decision taken by Odisha government. In addition to the implementation of this decision taken by the government, the government will spend around Rs.1, 300 crores annually.
