A private bus carrying devotees of Shirdi Saibaba collided with a truck-10 people died
Amaravati: A fatal road accident took place in Maharashtra on Friday around 7 am. 10 people lost their lives when a private bus carrying Sai Baba devotees to Shirdi collided with a truck. Police officials said the road accident took place near Pathare on the Nashik-Shirdi highway. Due to the accident, the bus overturned and the front part of the bus and the mirrors were destroyed. Many people stuck in the bus were pulled out by locals and police. Among the dead are seven women, two children and another person. More than 17 other passengers were seriously injured. It seems that speed is the reason for this incident. They have been shifted to Sinnar Rural Hospital, Yeswant Hospital and are being treated. Responding to the incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh for the deceased. He said that the cost of treatment of the injured will be fully borne by the government.
