Hyderabad: Popular director Kalathapaswi K. Vishwanath (92) passed away. He was suffering from illness for the last few days and breathed his last on Thursday night while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital. Kashinathuni.Vishwanath was born on February 19, 1930 in Raypalle, Guntur district. Studied Inter in Guntur Hindu College..Completed B.Sc in Andhra University.. After that, he started his film career as a sound artist at Vahini Studios. K. Vishwanath, who entered the industry with the movie Atma Gauravam in 1965, directed many wonderful films. He presented many classical films to the Telugu audience like Sirisirimuvva, Shankarabharanam, Saptapadi, Sagarasangam, Swathimuthyam, Sirivennela, Sruthilayalu, Swayamkrishi, Swarnakamalam, Sutradharulu, and Swathikiranam.
