Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that a secure, efficient public digital infrastructure has been created for the needs of the people of India, and this system has radically changed the nature of digital payments, governance, finance, and livelihood. Prime Minister Modi addressed the meeting of G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in Bangalore. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Indian consumers and manufacturers are optimistic and confident about the future, and requested you to give the same positive spirit to the global economy. He said he wants your discussion to focus on the financial needs of the world’s most vulnerable citizens. He said global economic leadership can regain global trust only by creating a comprehensive agenda. Prime Minister Modi expressed his concern that the covid pandemic has damaged the global economy and many countries, especially the developing economies, are still facing the ill effects. Global G20 guests at our G-20 Chairmanship meeting said we have created a new fintech platform that will allow UPI to be used by the global G20, India’s digital payments platform. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das participated in the first meeting of G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in Bangalore.
